Sketches for a graphic short, designed to hang in sequence on a wall. Each 'page' will be drawn and scanned, then coloured and printed on A3. There are no speech bubbles. My deadline for this project is my birthday Nov 15, but I'm hoping to be finished long before then.

Gamma world 1

Yet another planet experiment. This one was done on an iMac at Proremus (which I've never used a Mac since I was at LJMU in 1996). Not sure why they get so much love, except maybe people are just used to them. I prefer my PC, but I'm used to it.

Asteroid field

A bit of everything in this one. Most of the asteroids are real (photo's courtesy of NASA) and the gas giant is painted. This is a WIP compressed version so the planet looks a bit flatter and the stars have all disapeared...

Stasis

This is an old idea I repainted whilst playing about on a CS3 introduction course I'm attending. Its not much but I've redrawn this motif many times trying to get the impression of great size from both the moon and the planet beyond. It never quite works.

Planetfall

This is a montage I've been playing with on my CS3 course. Image incorporates Mars, Saturn, Iapetus and Earth's clouds ...I'm not happy about the horizon.
